1. Local document processing (your files stay on your PC)

DocxForge Pro—generating Word and PDF documents from your Excel data—operates offline on your local Windows machine.

We do not collect, store, transmit, or have any access to your Excel data, Word templates, generated Word/PDF documents, image assets, or any other proprietary business information.

Your commercial data never leaves your computer and is never processed on our servers.

2. Information we do collect (purchases & licensing) & license verification

We only collect the absolute minimum information required to issue and manage your license. When you purchase a license through our payment providers (such as Gumroad or Paddle), we receive:

• Your email address (used to send your license key and important product updates).
• Your name (if provided during checkout).
• Transaction metadata (date of purchase, license tier).

We never see, process, or store your credit card information. All payment processing is handled securely by our third-party payment gateways.

While document processing is offline, the Software requires a minimal, periodic internet connection (up to once per day) solely to verify the validity of your license key and prevent piracy. During this background license check, the Software transmits only:

• Your encrypted License Key.
• A hashed Hardware ID (anonymous identifier tied to your PC to prevent license sharing).
• Your standard IP address (necessary for the network request).

Under no circumstances does this process scan, access, or transmit your personal files, generated documents, or telemetry regarding how you use the Software.

3. How we use your email

We use your email address only to:

• Send you your license key and purchase receipt.
• Notify you of critical software updates, bug fixes, or changes to our EULA/Privacy Policy.
• Respond to your direct support inquiries.
• Send occasional promotional emails. You may opt out (unsubscribe) at any time.

We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address to third parties.

4. Website analytics and cookies

Our website may collect standard web server logs for security and performance monitoring. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count overall visits, but we do not profile individual users across the web.

5. Data security and user responsibility

You are responsible for the security, backup, and encryption of the documents you generate and the templates you use.

6. Your rights

You may request deletion of your email and purchase history from our database. Note: deleting this data will invalidate your license key and you will lose access to the Software without a refund.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.
